CRIA in the documentary A Look into the Future
More than a year ago, we had @lakalleasociacion and @reflorestarportugal here filming a Tree Workshop - Seedlings and Xylotheque for the documentary A Look into the Future - Una Mirada al Futuro. It is fully available on YouTube and is incredibly inspiring as it showcases different projects of Agroecology with very hopeful perspectives: https://youtu.be/_MqxOHFnPuU This short video shows a small part of the beauty of working under large trees and helping regeneration through

As Marginais - poetry from Alto Minho
Learning about places and landscapes can come to us in different ways, but poetry is one of the easiest to internalize; here, inspiration is in the air. I´ve captured these images over several months, always filming with my son, still a baby, on my back. We rediscover stories in the places we call home, so I decided to compile them, like a family album... These are places we visit often here in Minho, where we know the sounds and inhabitants, but where there is always much to

The Action of Loving Courage

This is what happens with the four distinct seasons we

Almost like Bamboo
Sunny days call for special drinks. Here is the Oat Infusion, fresh mint, sparkling Elderberry and Hawthorn berries, all chilled and delicious! And the straws? Are they made from a new composite made from recycled toilet paper and cigarette butts? Or is it actually a new celluloid created in a lab? No, it is the Oat itself, hard and resistant, almost like Portuguese bamboo.

CAMARINHA Project in Moledo do Minho
The CAMARINHA Project is carried out by Corema - Association of Heritage Defense with assistance from INIAV- portuguese instirute of agriculture and veterinary, since the beginning of this project as a member I have joined the awareness-raising actions with schools and the local population. Because dunes are the first step of shifting land, the plants that inhabit them are brave pioneers, as the instability of winds and sea is demanding. However, people in their summer rever
